Eleyae, Woodson-Crosby reign, Torchbearers announced

“Live from Crypto Arena,” will be said when CBS ‘s Affiliate KSLA-Channel 12 news anchor, Dominique Benn starts the tableau for the Krewe of Excellence 11th annual Mardi Gras Ball Jan. 20 at the Natchitoches Events Center.
 
The krewe’s theme this year is “Krewe of Excellence at the Grammys.” The annual music Awards show is held at Crypto Arena.
 
Oghale Eleyae, M.D. and Sylvia Woodson Crosby will reign at the annual event as King and Queen Excellence IX, respectively.
 
Outstanding high school seniors will be presented during the event. The students are selected (Torchbearer Leadership Program) each year from Lakeview, Louisiana School for Math Science and the Arts, Natchitoches Central and St. Mary’s High Schools. Upon recommendation by krewe members and school officials, the students are chosen. This year they include:
