
The Mystic Krewe de Saint Denis presented Maids and Dukes during the 46th Tableau & Ball, which was held in February. The theme for this year’s presentation was Rock ‘N’ Roll Heaven…The Day the Music Died.

Emerson Elle Cain, daughter of Krewe member and Mrs. Joseph Edward Cain was presented by her father. She is the granddaughter of Krewe member and Mrs. Randall Steven LaCaze, Mrs. Martie Rannenberg Cain, and the late Rev. Douglas London Cain. Emerson is a senior at Natchitoches Central High School where she is a member of National Honor Society, Maroon Line, FBLC, BETA, Chief Council, Leo Club, Activate Club, and FCA. She was a delegate to Louisiana Girls State and served as a Christmas Belle. Emerson plans to attend the University of Arkansas with a major in Business.
Joseph Edward Cain is a partner in the law firm of Herman, Herman, and Katz, LLC. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts. Jed has been a member of the Krewe for five years. He is married to the former Holly LaCaze, and they have three children, Emerson Elle, Moss Broussard, and Jake Harner.
Karmelya Lee Johnson Ducote, daughter of Krewe member and Mrs. Keith David Ducote was presented by her father. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Regina Pierce, the late Mr. Jerry Pierce, the late Mr. Ronald Prewitt, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Byron Ducote. Karmelya is a senior at Natchitoches Central High School where she has been on the Principal’s List. She is a member of Chief Council, FCA, BETA, Activate Club, and National Honor Society. She is a member of Westside Baptist Church, where she is a member of youth leadership. Karmelya is a member of Calico Belles. She plans to attend Louisiana Tech University, with a major in Business and a minor in Accounting.
Keith David Ducote is a Corporate Account Manager for Gulf Coast Chemical, the owner and operator of Ducote Properties, and co-owner of Brick and Row. Keith is a member of Westside Baptist Church and a former member of the Jaycees. His hobbies include real estate investments, cooking, and spending time outdoors. He has been a Krewe member for three years. He is married to the former Natalie Prewitt, and they have four children, Karmelya, Ava Grace, Allie Estelle, and Charlee Ann.
Jadee Beth Fair, daughter of Mrs. Brooke Landreneau Fair and the late Krewe member James Rex “Kip” Fair Jr. was presented by her uncle, Krewe member Michael Alan Webb Sr. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Landreneau, Mrs. Shirley Fair, and the late Mr. James Rex Fair Sr. She is a senior at the Dunham School in Baton Rouge, LA. Jadee is the Senior Class Vice President and is active in BETA, Art Club, Spanish Club, and Literary Journal. She also serves on the Head Committee for the Institute of Leadership and is editor of her Yearbook class. She received the UCA All-American Award for Cheer and is Co-Captain. Jadee plans to attend Louisiana State University or the University of Arkansas with a major in Business.
Michael Alan Webb Sr. is the owner of Clearwater Pools and Spas, which he has owned for 40 years. Mike volunteers each year with fundraisers for Freedom Mission. He was awarded the Pulse of the City Award for his business at the Extreme Level in 2023; the Pentair Corporation Builder of the Year in 2009, 2010, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2022, and 2023; and the National Pool and Spa Industry Awards Gold and Bronze Star in 2018. He has been a Duke numerous times. His hobbies include hunting, mountain biking, and taking family vacations. Mike is married to the former Darla Fair, and they are the parents of Michael Alan II, James Dylan, and Kaleigh Webb Smith. They are grandparents to Vivienne Drew Webb, Rex Karter Smith, Violet Dylan Webb, and Rowen Kathryn Smith.
Hanna Ruth Gahagan, daughter of Krewe member and Mrs. Fred Sconyers Gahagan Jr. was presented by her father. She is the granddaughter of Mr. Herman Clayton Doyle, Ms. Jame Smith Corley, and the late Krewe member and Mrs. Fred Sconyers Gahagan Sr. Hanna is a senior at the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts, where she serves as an LSMSA Ambassador, is co-chair of the Athletic Council’s Training and Wellness, the school’s Athletic Trainer, and Captain of the Crew Team. She will be attending Robert Morris University in Pennsylvania, where she has signed with the school’s rowing team. She will be majoring in Sports Psychology, to be a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician with a sub-specialty in sports medicine.
Fred Sconyers Gahagan Jr. is currently employed with Baker Hughes as a Deepwater Technical Specialist. He has served previously as a Duke for the Krewe. He is married to the former Jennifer Doyle, and they have two daughters, Tenley Marie, and Hanna Ruth.
Gabrielle Virginia Godfrey, daughter of Krewe member and Mrs. Christopher Scott Godfrey was presented by her father. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Virginia Gravel Carbo, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Carbo Jr., Mr. and Mrs. James Thomas Mathis, and Mr. William Earl Godfrey Jr. Gabby is a senior at St. Mary’s Catholic School where she has been the Class President for four years. She is on the Student Council Executive Board and is currently the Cheer Team Captain. Gabby is a member of FCA, BETA, FBLA, National Society of High School Scholars, National Honor Society, Mayor’s Youth Council, and March for Life. She was the St. Mary’s Homecoming Queen, received the Bishop Martin Award, and is a UCA Cheer All-American. Gabby is a member of the Summer Dance Committee. She plans to attend Louisiana State University and major in Textiles, Apparel, and Merchandising.
Christopher Scott Godfrey is a dentist. He is a member of the American, Louisiana, and Central Louisiana Dental Associations; Academy of American Dentistry, and Ark-La-Tex Academy of Dentistry. Scott has been a member of the Mystic Krewe since 2013 and served as a Duke in 2018. He served as a Float Chairman in 2018. Scott currently serves as a member of the board and as a Troupe Lieutenant. His hobbies include traveling, hunting, exercising, and spending time with family and friends. He is married to the former Aline Carbo, and they have two children, Gabrielle Virginia and Andrew Scott.
Ella Kathryn Guillet, daughter of Krewe member and Mrs. John Christopher Guillet was presented by her father. She is the granddaughter of Ms. Katherine Webster Jett, Mrs. Lou Horton Martin and the late Mr. Gloyd Lewain Martin, and Mr. John Barry Guillet. Ella is a senior at St. Mary’s Catholic School where she is a member of the Tigerline Dance team, currently serving as Captain. She is the President of Student Council, and a member of FBLA, BETA, FCA, Cooking for a Cause, and National Honor Society. Ella received the Universal Dance Association All-American Honors for three years. She plans to attend Louisiana State University with a major in Business.
John Christopher Guillet is a partner in the law firm of Corkern, Crews, Guillet, and Johnson. He is a member of the Natchitoches Bar Association and serves on the Board of Directors of City Bank and Trust. Chris is a member of the Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. He has been a member of the Krewe for 10 years, and served as a Duke in 2019. His hobbies include spending time with family and watching LSU sports. Chris is married to the former Lisa Jett, and they have four children, Claire Elizabeth, Michael David, Ella Kathryn, and Henry Albert.
Camille Elizabeth Weber, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Jackson Weber Sr. was presented by her grandfather, Krewe Member Henry Cole Gahagan Jr. She is the granddaughter of Krewe member and Mrs. Henry Cole Gahagan Jr. and Ms. June Jackson Weber. Camille is a senior at The Kinkaid School in Houston, TX. Her activities include Varsity Cheer, Junior/Senior Prom Committee, Kinkaid Dance, and Kinkaid Young Life. She was the Leukemia and Lymphoma Student of the Year and has been on the Honor Roll. She served as a Peer Mentor and is President of the Kinkaid Garden Club. Camille plans to attend Texas Christian University with a major in Nursing in the Harris College of Nursing and Health Sciences.
Henry Cole Gahagan Jr. has practiced law for over 50 years specializing in banking, corporate law, and complex litigation. He is a member of the Chancellor’s Committee on Continuing Education and serves on the Board of Directors of the Louisiana Trial Lawyers. Coley has served on numerous boards and commissions including City Bank & Trust Company for 45 years. He has served on the Natchitoches Regional Medical Center Board of Directors, was Co-Chair of the Natchitoches Christmas Festival, and Chair of the Natchitoches Utility Study. He was named by the Jaycees as Outstanding Young Man in Natchitoches, and as one of three Outstanding Young Men in Louisiana. He is married to the former Sharon Turcan, and they have three children, Kristen Gahagan Weber, Henry Cole Gahagan III, and Jensen Gahagan Sessums. He has six grandchildren, Larsen Elise Weber, Camille Elizabeth Weber, Scott Jackson Weber, Henry Cole Gahagan IV, Annabel Aurora Gahagan, and Carter Bradshaw Sessums. A Krewe member for 46 years, he has served the Krewe twice as a Duke and was Captain of the Ball in 2009.
