The Kisatchie Ranger District announced the reopening of the Sandstone Multiple Use Trail in Natchitoches Parish on Wednesday, May 1. This scenic, challenging 36-mile-trail loops through pine upland forest and sandy hardwood bottoms, including sandstone bluffs and picturesque vistas.
