Project Celebration holds inaugural butterfly release on riverbank

Project Celebration recently held its inaugural Butterfly Release in Natchitoches. Each butterfly released is representative of a victim/survivor of sexual assault. It was a beautiful and meaningful event, especially having the community and community partners come together to show support. Thank you to Natchitoches Parish Coroner Steven Enlow Clanton, Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office Detective E. Mogridge, and Mayor Ronnie Williams Jr. for signing the proclamation to recognize April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Also thank you to Rev. Steven Harris for the closing prayer.
