Natchitoches Parish students are Grambling bound

Several Natchitoches Parish students will attend Grambling State University (fall 2024) after graduating from high school next month. Linked with the White House initiatives on higher education and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU’s), the students will sign their National College Signing Day letter of intent on Wednesday, May 1 at 6pm at the Ben D. Johnson Educational Center.

This second annual event is hosted by Natchitoches Parish Grambling alumni.

“It is our goal to constantly recruit, retain/graduate good students from throughout Louisiana, the country and other parts of the world. Some of the nation’s best students are in Natchitoches Parish,” remarked Dr. Tammy Richardson, the university’s national alumni president.

The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call: 318-460-7460 or 318-332-8254.
