The Natchitoches Historic Foundation held a Dedication Ceremony followed by a Gala event on May 9 to commemorate the completion of the Pacalé-Roque House restoration project, located on the picturesque Cane River Lake downtown riverbank.
“After more than a year of dedicated work, we are thrilled to celebrate with the community, our partners in this project and all our worker bees that helped make this momentous occasion possible,” said Roque House Committee Chairman Ben Barron.
Members from NHF, DSW Construction, Tipton Associates, the Cane River Waterway Commission, the Cane River Creole National Historic Park, other elected officials, and the Cane River National Heritage area were present.
