Billy was born in Natchitoches October 18, 1937, and passed away at his home in Heflin, La on June 11, 2024, at the age of 86. He was a carpenter for McInnis Brothers Construction for over 40 years and served his country in the United States Marines.
Billy was preceded in death by his father William T. Berry, mother Mildred Barnhill Berry, sisters Sharon Berry Sibley and Janice Berry, brothers Ken Berry and Claude Berry, and son Billy Wayne Berry.
He is survived by his wife Ginny Gibbs Berry, son Shane Berry, daughters Debbie Berry McCain, Cindy Berry, and Tammy Berry. Grandchildren Kristi Berry, Matthew McCain, Dylan Berry, Joshua Stewart, Makenna Berry, Emma Berry and great grandchildren Derek McCain, Hannah Fuselier and Lily Fuselier.
Billy was an avid outdoorsman. He loved nothing more than being in the woods with his buddies from Leatherman’s Hunting Club or on the water at Toledo Bend or Lake Fork.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
