St. Mary’s Junior High Cheer team recently attended the Universal Cheerleading Association Camp at Northwestern State University. The camp focused on crowd leading, skills training, leadership and team bonding. The twelve-member square received the following awards throughout the week:

Pin-it-Forward Leadership Awards: Kollyns Duhon and Brooklyn Clark.
Four team members were named UCA All-American Cheerleaders: Macie Cameron, Kollyns Duhon, Jolee Shae Hayes and Brenley Metoyer. Officers for the 2024-25 school year are: Macie Cameron (Captain), Kollyns Duhon (Co-Captain), Jolee Shae Hayes and Brenley Metoyer (Lieutenants). The team is coached by Jamie Methvin and Erika Todtenbier.
