Natchitoches Central High School recently announced the newest member of the Chief Administrative Team, Shelby Laborde, who will serve as an Assistant Principal with responsibilities concentrating on curriculum, instruction, and accountability.

Laborde holds a Master’s and Educational Specialist Degree from NSULA. Through her dedicated career as a teacher and counselor in Rapides Parish, Laborde has become passionate about fostering growth and development in both students and educators. She thrives on creating a positive learning environment, where every individual is encouraged to reach their full potential. She is an advocate for lifelong learning and is dedicated to making a lasting impact. Outside the classroom, she can be found on a ball field cheering on her five children with her husband.

Laborde’s impressive experience will certainly lend to the continued growth of both students and teachers at Natchitoches Central, and the school is happy to welcome her to the Chief family.
