Natchitoches Parish Fire District #9 Fire Chief Douglas Rachal reported the fire at the Greater Holy Temple Church in Campti was extinguished. There was moderate fire and heavy smoke damage to the church. The Louisiana State Fire Marshal’s Office assisted NPFD #9 in an effort to determine what may have caused the fire. At this time, the fire is not suspicious.
NPFD #9 extends its thanks to NPFD# 6 and others for their response to assist in saving property. There were no injuries. The fire was reported to NATCOM 911 Center on Aug, 1 at 7:20 am.
