The Natchitoches Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Wednesday evening on Rowena Street.

 

NPD officers responded to the 600 block of Rowena Street on July 31 around 9:41 pm in reference to gunshots in the area. Upon officers arrival they located the victim who told them that he and his wife were in their driveway when an unknown group of suspects began to shoot in their direction. The victims told officers that their vehicle was struck several times and that they were unharmed.

 

Investigators were called to the scene and collected several pieces of evidence that will be sent to the crime lab for analysis.
