During the July meeting of Cane River Branch of Magnolia State Peace Officers Association it was decided they would give a donation to Natchitoches Coalition on Homelessness. The Coalition is a nonprofit organization that provides temporary housing assistance and a monthly “Share a Meal” to Natchitoches poverty-stricken residences. Cane River Branch of Magnolia State Peace Officers Association appreciated the efforts of the Natchitoches Coalition on Homelessness for meeting the needs of those in our community. Thank you for all that you do and continue the good work.

Presenting the donation are Cane River members: Chief Nikeo Collins, LaQuita Collins, Melvin Holmes, Siggie Silvie Jr., Vanessa Monroe, accepting the check is member John Robertson who is also a member of the Homeless Coalition, President Billy Meziere, Lillie Owens Jones, Carolyn Essex, Jonathan Meziere and Charlie Davis.
