
A traffic stop in Robeline has led to the arrest of a Caddo Parish woman on felony drug charges according to Natchitoches Parish Sheriff Stuart Wright.
Robeline Asst. Marshal Gill stopped a 2013 Lexus on Hwy. 6 on Aug. 25 around 6:15 pm within the City Limits of Robeline for a traffic violation.
Shortly after the traffic stop, Robeline Police requested assistance from the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Deputy N. Kerby responded to assist.
The operator of the vehicle was identified as 45-year-old Shadonna D. Jackson of Shreveport whom Deputy Kerby was familiar with from a prior narcotics arrest in Natchitoches Parish.
While interviewing Jackson, she began to cry informing deputies she had recently got out of jail.”
Deputies suspected criminal activity requesting permission to search the vehicle.
During a search of the vehicle, deputies discovered and seized several suspected narcotic pills consisting of suboxone, alprazolam, legend drugs and drug paraphernalia.
As a result:
Shadonna D. Jackson, was transported and booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center.
While being booked into the detention center, corrections deputies discovered suspected methamphetamine concealed on Jackson’s person.
Jackson remains in the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center charged with Possession of CDS Schedule III Narcotics, Possession of CDS Schedule IV Alprazolam, Possession of CDS Schedule III Methamphetamine, Possession of Legend Drugs, False Representation, Introduction of Contraband into a Penal Institution and traffic offenses.
The seized narcotics evidence will be submitted to the crime lab for analysis.
The vehicle was impounded by a local wrecker service.
