The Natchitoches Police Department is investigating a fatal hit and run crash that occurred early Monday morning on South Drive.
Natchitoches Police Department officers were dispatched to the 300 block of South Drive near Parkway Drive on Sept. 2 around 4:02 am in reference to a fatal hit and run motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian.
The initial investigation by the Natchitoches Police Department revealed that an unknown vehicle was travelling northbound in the 300 block of South Drive and for reasons still under investigation crashed into a pedestrian.
Quenton Nash (B/M, 32 y.o.a of Natchitoches), the pedestrian, was transported to the Natchitoches Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased as a result of his injuries.
The crash remains under investigation and more details will be released as they become available.
