The Natchitoches Parish Council will hold a special called meeting on Monday, Sept. 9 at 10 a.m. in the Board room on the second floor of the courthouse. The agenda items to be voted on are:
Council to authorize the Parish President to sign all necessary documents for an interim operating agreement of the Transfer station for the Parish of Natchitoches. And adjust the monthly fee from $2,500 to $5,000 a month, until the ordinance for lease can be executed.
Council to introduce an ordinance-020-2024 for the lease of the transfer station to Waste Connection from Sept. 1, 2024 until June 30, 2025 for $5,000 per month.
