The Natchitoches Parish School Board will vote at its regularly scheduled board meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 10 to consider levying additional or increased millage rates without further voter approval or adopting the adjusted millage rates after reassessment and rolling forward to rates not to exceed the prior year’s maximum. 

The regularly scheduled board meeting will be conducted on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at 5:00 pm in the NPSB Title I Media Center at 310A Royal Street. All committee/board meetings are live-streamed on NPSB’s Facebook page and YouTube Channel for those unable to physically attend.

 Notice is hereby given pursuant to Article 7, Section 23(C) of the Louisiana Constitution and R.S. 47:1705(B) that a public hearing of Natchitoches Parish School Board in Natchitoches Parish will be held at its regular meeting place located at 310 Royal Street, Natchitoches LA on September 10, 2024 at 5:00 PM to consider levying additional or increased millage rates without further voter approval or adopting the adjusted millage rates after reassessment and rolling forward to rates not to exceed the prior year’s maximum. The estimated amount of tax revenues to be collected in the next year from increased millage is $4,404,799.14 and the amount of increase in taxes attributable to the millage increase is $79,283.92
