The Village of Robeline called a special meeting on Sept. 5 to fill the vacant position left after the passing of Alderman Mike Solice. Appointed by the council was Martha Solice, Mike’s wife. Martha will hold the position until the next open qualification period.
The Robeline Heritage Society will hold a rummage sale on Friday, Sept. 13 at 8 am at the Heritage building located at 9062 Texas St. in Robeline.
The Society will also be selling pulled pork plates during the sale. The plates will include a sandwich, chips, a drink and a dessert. Plates will be $8. Pre-Orders for the plates can be placed by contacting Courtney at 318-354-7019, Frances at 318-581-6489 and Thersea at 318-332-4968. Walk ins will also be welcome.
