September 17 is National Voter Registration Day. After providing a thorough review of the new Louisiana voter registration drive guidelines, Kathrin Woodard Holden-received the request from Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.-Theta Delta Chapter to host their annual voter registration drive-encouraging Northwestern State University (NSU)  students and employees to register to vote and or change one’s voter registration status to Natchitoches Parish.

 

“Nine months out of the calendar year are spent in Natchitoches and the students need to engage in the local community happenings as voters. Many students will graduate and make Natchitoches their home,” said Carlton “CJ” Johnson-the fraternity’s (president) Basileus.
