Save the Date for Saint Mary’s Catholic School Casino Night Event

Saint Mary’s Catholic School will host its fourth annual Casino Night fundraiser on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 7-10 pm in the school gymnasium.  Make plans to attend this fun adult evening of food, spirits, music, casino gaming, auction items, entertainment and more.

The cost of admission for the Casino themed night is $100 and includes dinner, Casino Cash for gaming tables, open bar, and entertainment. Tickets may be purchased from any Saint Mary’s parent, the school office, Immaculate Conception Church office or online at http://www.smstigers.org/casino-night.  Sponsorship packages are also available.

Funds from this event will be utilized for Virtual Reality Technology for the classroom that will benefit all grades at the school, PreK through 12th, and enhance the school’s STEAM program (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics). This innovative educational tool offers students enriching opportunities to visit remote places, see historical monuments and interact with 3D models such as a beating heart or ancient artifact.

“Learning through immersive experiences and engagement can boost knowledge retention for students of all ages.  The curriculum aligned content of the virtual technology increases value to classroom lessons for every subject offered. We are excited to add this amazing educational resource to directly benefit all of our students”, says Stephen Wren, Principal of St. Mary’s.

In addition, funds may assist with other academic needs and provide teachers, who are the foundation of academics, with a supplement. Save the date for this exciting event, roll the dice and make memories while supporting the students and teachers at St. Mary’s Catholic School.
