Outstanding Academic Testing Achievements at St. Mary’s Catholic School

This past spring, several students at St. Mary’s Catholic School reached a remarkable milestone by achieving perfect scores on the TerraNova standardized test given to students in kindergarten through seventh grades. The TerraNova test is a comprehensive assessment designed to evaluate students’ proficiency in key areas such as reading, mathematics, language, and science. Obtaining a perfect score on this challenging test is an extraordinary achievement that few students accomplish. Congratulations to the following students for conquering this challenge: Abigael Adkins (Reading), Farryn Jeane (Math), Aziah Armstrong (Math), Eleanor Picou (Math), Sydney Culotta (Language).

Several high school students also achieved a score of 30 or better on one or more parts of the PreACT 8/9 and/or the PreACT. The PreACT 8/9 and PreACT tests are important benchmarks for evaluating students’ readiness for college. Scoring a 30 or above on these assessments is a notable accomplishment. Congratulations to the following students: Gannon Sheffield (Reading), Camille Armstrong (Reading & Math), Luc Cross (Reading), Peyton Faucheaux (Reading), Ethel Guidry (Reading), Mackenzie Morgan (Reading), Camille Procell (Reading), John Paul Thibodaux (Reading), and Avery Evans (Reading).
