Goldonna News: October 2

By Reba Phelps

There is a small carefully crafted wooden box located in downtown Goldonna. It is shaped like a small house and is chock full of items that may bless someone in need. It is fittingly named “The Blessing Box.” Please feel free to support this ministry by filling it up when it is empty. This intentionally placed box has blessed many since its inception.

Veteran’s Day is a little over a month away but the residents of Goldonna are already in preparation. The program will be held on Nov. 9 at 10 am at the Goldonna Cemetery.  This will give the residents the perfect time to visit the newly refreshed cemetery. Mr. Larry McGee is the organizer of the event. More details to be released soon.

The Goldonna Elementary Junior High School’s basketball team has released their schedule for the 2024-2025 season. Tip off will be held on Oct. 28 as they take on the Provencal Panthers.
