The Cane River Homeschool group hosted a bake sale over the weekend for Wreaths across America.
Which is a program that helps put Christmas wreaths on the graves of veterans for the holidays. The kids were able to raise $255 during the bake sale and they will get to be part of laying the wreaths in a local cemetery in December. The Robeline Heritage Society will be holding a post festival meeting on Thursday, Oct. 17 at 4 p.m. The meeting will be in the newly dedicated heritage building. Everyone is invited to join us and become a society member and help us start the ball rolling for the next festival.
The Village of Robeline will also have their monthly meeting Thursday, Oct. 17 at 6 p.m. in the Police Depot. On the agenda is the regular monthly financial reports as well as the village’s yearly audit report. All meetings are open to the public. Come be involved in your community business.
