Kelly Wayne Hickman Sr. was born December 11, 1963 in Coushatta, Louisiana. Kelly passed away at the age of 60, with family by his side, on November 6, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley Mae and Prentice Olen Hickman. Kelly is survived by his fiancée Susan Yocum; his children – Jenna Hickman-Gibson (Robert), Kelly Hickman Jr. (Kelsey), Brianna Hickman (John), Justin Hickman (Kayla), and Chris Berry (Marie); grandchildren – Jerek Gibson, Amelia Gibson, and Crayton Hickman; brother – Garry Hickman (Tammy) ; sister – Anita Stiles (Wayne); and numerous nephews, nieces, and friends.
Kelly was a log truck driver, an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved any opportunity to go out to eat. He loved watching football, and he is loved and missed by his family.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Ashland Baptist Church, located at 528 LA-153, Ashland, LA 71002. Brother Danny Flack will be officiating the memorial with a potluck luncheon to follow.
