The 20th Annual Fleur De Lis Christmas Craft Fair – Handmade Crafts with a Local Flavor!

Every available space at the Natchitoches Event Center was filled by 115 vendors from around Louisiana and surrounding states as the Fleur de Lis Christmas Craft Market took place on Nov. 30. The popular event, a fun community tradition in its 20th year, joined other activities downtown as part of the lead-up to the Christmas Festival weekend. A steady stream of thousands of visitors stopped by the daylong event and browsed through booths filled with handmade craft items and foods. No manufactured items are allowed to be sold. Everything at the event is handmade by artisans.

Natchitoches’ newest animal welfare organization, FAUNA, was on hand selling delicious treats for both people and pets to raise funds to further their mission. This organization of volunteers has been a fixture at the fair, raising awareness of their mission of rescue, rehabilitation, spay,   neutering, and adoption.

The annual Fleur de Lis Christmas Craft Fair is a wonderful opportunity to get a head start on your holiday shopping while helping artisans and small businesspeople.
