
Sheriff Stuart Wright announces the promotion of Deputy Brandon Remo to the rank of Deputy Lieutenant in the NPSO Patrol Operations Bureau.
Lt. Remo, a 16-year-veteran of the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office is a member of Natchitoches SWAT. He has several law enforcement certifications, worked most of his career in patrol and at one time was assigned to the Natchitoches Multi-jurisdictional Drug Task Force Criminal Patrol Unit.
Lt. Remo, will now serve as commander of NPSO Patrol Shift “C”.
Recently, Lt. Remo received a Letter of Commendation for his actions while responding to arrest an individual on out-of-parish child sex offense warrants. When Remo and another deputy arrived at a residence to arrest the wanted person, they encountered the suspect armed with a firearm allegedly contemplating suicide by cop. Remo successfully negotiated with the suspect to put the firearm down and took him into custody without incident.
Lt. Remo is married.

The NPSO Patrol Operations Bureau is divided into 4 patrol shifts, that work 12-hour rotations, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week.
