Krewe of The 9 share Christmas cheer

Just a few days before Christmas, some of the members of Krewe of The 9-Mardi Gras krewe, shared a lot of laughter and hot chocolate to local residents and visitors shopping, “eye buying” and preparing for the annual Christmas drone and fireworks display in historic downtown Natchitoches.

Over 165 styro cups of hot chocolate went into the hands of individuals as the krewe members stood at an entrance area of the Natchitoches Convention and Visitors’ Bureau suite to share the warm item. “We love coming to Natchitoches every year to eat, shop, tour and see the fabulous fireworks show and now the drone presentation. It is so much for a small, friendly town and now the free fun flavored chocolate-makes preparing for next year better,” said C. Anna K Barron of Dallas.

As part of the krewe’s “We LOVE our Community” philanthropy project, this activity will be repeated next year and was the last community service project for 2024.
