Members of the Natchitoches Parish Fire District 5 (NPFD 5), along with family and friends, gathered at Lambre’s Gin Station to celebrate the holiday season. The event featured food, fun, and a recognition ceremony to honor exceptional service within the department in 2024.

Corey Roberson Named Firefighter of the Year
Corey Roberson was awarded the prestigious Firefighter of the Year title for 2024. The award recognizes his outstanding dedication and service to both the department and the citizens of Natchitoches Parish Fire District 5.

Adam Edwards Receives Spirit of Chief John Award
Another highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Spirit of Chief John Award to Adam Edwards. This annual award honors the legacy of Chief John Nicholas, celebrating his commitment to serving others. It is given to a member who exemplifies Chief Nicholas’s dedication and passion for the community.
