Natchitoches Police Department officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Keyser Avenue (Dollar Tree) on Dec. 23 around 9:27 pm in reference to an armed robbery. Upon officers arrival they made contact with the victim who said they were approached by two individuals in the paring lot. The individuals demanded that the victim give them the store deposit bag and their cell phone at gun point. The victim complied with their request and the suspects fled the area.

Investigators were able to locate pieces of evidence that will be sent to the crime lab for further analysis and are reviewing surveillance cameras from businesses in the area.
