In his final season at Northwestern, Honshtein averaged 39.7 yards on 75 punts, including a career-long 67-yarder. He forced 23 fair catches and placed 21 punts inside the opponent’s 20-yard line while booting nine punts of at least 50 yards.
As a kicker, Honshtein hit six of eight field goals with a long of 38 and was perfect on 18 extra-point tries for the Demons.
