Natchitoches Parish residents interested in becoming certified election commissioners are invited to attend a School of Instruction on Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 5:30 p.m. The session will take place in the Natchitoches Parish Courthouse, Courtroom (2nd Floor), located at 200 Church Street.
This training is specifically for new individuals seeking certification as election commissioners. By attending, participants will become eligible to be selected to work at election precincts on Election Day, with a compensation of $200 per election.
Qualifications to Participate:
- You must be a qualified voter who does not require assistance in voting.
- You cannot be a candidate in the election or an immediate family member of a candidate at the precinct where you serve.
- You must not have been convicted of an election offense.
- Attendance at this course is required to become certified.
