FAUNA takes reins for 10th Annual Pub Crawl

Friends All United for Natchitoches Animals (FAUNA) is excited to announce that it will take over hosting duties for the Annual Pub Crawl, previously organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Natchitoches Young Professionals. This year’s event marks the 10th anniversary of the popular fundraiser and will help support FAUNA’s mission of caring for neglected, abused, and homeless animals in Natchitoches Parish.

“We are thrilled to have this opportunity to raise much-needed funds for the 112 animals currently in our care,” a FAUNA spokesperson said. “Housing, feeding, and providing vet care for these furbabies requires significant resources, and events like the Pub Crawl make a big difference.”

The 10th Annual Pub Crawl will take place on Saturday, March 15 from 4-10 pm in downtown Natchitoches. The event will proceed rain or shine, with a variety of activities planned to entertain attendees.

Highlights include:

Seven Pub Crawl Stops: Participants can enjoy a lively atmosphere at each location.

Costume Contest: Set for 6 p.m., with prizes for the best male and female costumes.

Poker Hand Competition: Prizes will be awarded for the best poker hands, with first, second, and third place winners.

Live Music and Food Trucks: Front Street will feature musical acts and food vendors for added entertainment.

Participants can register for the event by visiting faunapub-crawl2025.eventbrite.com. An early bird special is available through January 31, offering a discounted registration rate.

For those interested in supporting the event as sponsors or seeking additional information, FAUNA Board Member Kathy Owsley can be contacted at katcamcal@yahoo.com or 318-471-6624.

Proceeds from the Pub Crawl will directly benefit FAUNA’s efforts to provide essential care and shelter for animals in need throughout the parish. Don’t miss this opportunity to have fun while making a meaningful impact in the community.
