Three members of the St. Mary’s Girls Powerlifting Team showcased their strength at the Calvary Invitational on Feb. 8. Competing against a strong field, the athletes achieved commendable placements:

Rayanna Northsworthy (10th grade) secured 5th place.
Gracie Watson (9th grade) earned 5th place.
Ady Rhodes (8th grade) achieved 4th place.

Their impressive performances have qualified them for the upcoming regional competition. The team is coached by T-Bird Smith and Nikki Brewton, with assistance from Tara Smith and Ethan Smith.

The regional meet is scheduled for Feb. 22 at Ruston High School.
