The Louisiana Music Educators Association held its national conference on Jan. 16-19 in New Orleans. This was the first years to feature Middle School All State Ensembles along with High School All-State Groups. Middle School Orchestra students from across the state were auditioned with the top 76 student selected to perform at the conference. The N.S.U. Middle Lab School had nine students selected to participate. These students are: 1st Violin Jayden Fernandez, Hunter French, 2nd Violin Tano Eleyae, Piper Foshee, Juhee Han, Viola Kynlee Harrell, Cello Andrew Fontenot, Bass Ethan Johnson, Carson Lyles.
