
The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Impact Team focused on reducing crime, identifying and arresting criminals involved in illegal narcotics activity, gun violence, apprehension of wanted persons and recovery of stolen property in Natchitoches Parish arrested four people on various charges on Feb. 7, according to Natchitoches Parish Sheriff Stuart Wright.
The team consisting of deputies from the NPSO Patrol Operations Bureau, Criminal Investigations Bureau, Drug Enforcement Unit and Drug Enforcement Criminal Patrol Unit mission is to conduct saturated patrols in communities across Natchitoches Parish including the City of Natchitoches in a collaborative effort to enhance quality of life, reduce crime and arrest individuals involved in illegal criminal activity in our parish.
Sheriff Wright said the ultimate goal of these operations isn’t just about making arrests, but about preventing crime and meeting the public’s concerns. These deputies are trained and committed to this initiative in making our communities a safer place for our children and families.”

The following arrests were made during the operation on Feb. 7 in the areas of Hwy. 6 near the North Natchitoches Bypass and Robeline.
-Dontarrius Beaudion, 35, of Natchitoches, La.

-Deviontre Q. Maxie, 24, of Many, La.

-Percy B. Willis, 57, of Many, La.
Possession of Open Alcohol in Motor Vehicle

Willis has a lengthy criminal history.
-Mike F. Matthews, 55, of Robeline, La.

Willis and Matthews were transported and booked into LaSalle Corrections/Natchitoches Detention while Beaudion and Maxie were released on misdemeanor criminal citations pending their court appearances. Mugshot images of Beaudion and Maxie are not available.
Seized in the arrests were approximately 35 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 56 grams of suspected synthetic marijuana and approximately 36 grams of suspected marijuana. The seized evidence will be submitted to the crime lab for narcotics analysis.
