Some Natchitoches Parish students along with their teachers, parents and chaperones spent their winter break in Paris and London. Their 8-day trip allowed them to see and experience the French and English culture and food, while taking in the sights in both countries. The students in attendance were Bentley Mobley, Brees Badua, Patrick Martinez, Avery Broadway, Natalie Broadway, Logan Rachal and Delaney Poche. The teachers and chaperones were Patrice Harper, Melanie Martinez, Beverely Broadway, Tina Poche, Theresa Rachal, Teresa Trichel, and Tracy Herrera.
On their trip they were able to visit the Louvre, where they saw the Mona Lisa, along with many other pieces of priceless art; the Eiffel Tower, Montparnasse, Big Ben, the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, Versailles, the British Museum, the Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame Cathedral, Sacré-Cœur Basilica, St.Paul’s Cathedral, the Tower of London, and many more historical sites.
The group would like to extend their thanks to all who supported them on this endeavor, especially Superintendent Dr. Grant Eloi and the NPSB School Board.
