Ash Wednesday, March 5, marks the beginning of Lent, a season of reflection and renewal for many Christians. Trinity Episcopal Church is offering a convenient way for individuals to receive ashes and a blessing without having to attend a traditional church service. Trinity’s priest, the Rev. Kris Paul, will be present at StoryBrew (780 Front St.) to administer ashes and provide a moment of prayer and spiritual connection for all who seek it.
“This is an opportunity for us to meet people where they are,” said Mother Kris of Trinity. “Whether you’re on your way to work, grabbing your morning coffee, or simply passing by, we welcome you to pause for a moment of reflection as we begin this sacred season together.”
Ashes-to-Go is part of a nationwide movement to bring this ancient Christian tradition beyond church walls and into everyday spaces. All are welcome to participate, regardless of religious background.
