NPSO Drug Enforcement Unit, Criminal Patrol continue efforts to reduce crime

Natchitoches Parish Drug Enforcement Unit continues success in crime reduction since the establishment of the Drug Enforcement Unit and Criminal Patrol Unit by Sheriff Stuart Wright.
 
According to the Drug Enforcement Unit there has been a decrease in crime across the parish. Both of the units have been proactive in its efforts to combat crime, along with and enhancing community safety.
 
These units along with the NPSO Impact Team work together quite often to reduce crime and target criminal behavior in Natchitoches Parish. In recent weeks, the unit has made several arrests, contributing to this ongoing crime reduction initiative.
 
Below is a list of individuals recently arrested by the Drug Enforcement Unit and Criminal Patrol Unit.
 
*Christopher Grappe – Possession of CDS II, Possession of CDS I, 2nd or Subsequent Offenses, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Jayvein Moore- Possession of CDS I with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Chansy Jefferson- Felony arrest warrant
*Bernard Miles- FTA warrant.
*Jerica Kelly- Possession of CDS II with Intent, Possession of CDS I with Intent, 2nd or Subsequent Offenses, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Resisting, Careless Operation of a Vehicle
*Treyvon White- FTA warrant
*Austin Smith-felony warrant
*Devonte Aaron- 2 counts FTA warrants
*Markita Brimsey 9 counts FTA warrant s
*Roman Johnson- 2 counts FTA warrants
*Antonio Brown 40:966.C.2 Possession of CDS I Narcotics
*Kristopher Burks- felony warrant (NPD)
*Devin Pier- 2 counts FTA Warrant / 40:966.C
*Terrance King-Illegal Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Possession of a Firearm by a Person Convicted of Certain Felonies, Illegal Possession of a Firearm in the Presence of Controlled Dangerous Substances and Probation Violation.
 
The Natchitoches Parish Drug Enforcement (Criminal Patrol) Unit remains committed to actively investigate narcotics offenses and patrol the area in an effort to reduce crime and the flow of illegal drugs into our community.
