Trinity Episcopal Church to hold Community Agape Meal, Foot Washing, Stations of the Cross

Trinity Episcopal Church is extending a warm invitation to the public for two meaningful events in observance of Holy Week.

On Thursday, April 17, at 6 p.m., the church will host an Agape Meal, a simple supper of soups and breads offered to the community in the spirit of fellowship and remembrance of the Last Supper. The meal will be followed by a Maundy Thursday service, which includes the traditional foot washing ceremony. As part of its outreach to the community, Trinity will be distributing shoes and socks to individuals in need during the evening.

On Friday, April 18, the church will lead a public walking of the Stations of the Cross, commemorating the events of Good Friday. The walk will begin at 12 p.m. at the roundabout on Front Street and is expected to take approximately 45 minutes, concluding at Trinity Episcopal Church, 533 Second Street. Participants are invited to join the church for a contemplative Eucharist service beginning at 1 p.m.

Both events are open to the public and reflect Trinity Episcopal’s ongoing commitment to service, reflection, and spiritual community.
