NCHS LEO Walk raises over $2,000 for St. Jude, donations still accepted through April 30

Natchitoches Central High School’s annual LEO Walk was held yesterday, drawing strong community support and raising over $2,000 to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The fundraiser, organized by the school’s LEO Club, brought together students, faculty, and local supporters for a walk to raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research and treatment.

“We are incredibly thankful for everyone who came out and supported our event,” organizers said. “Your generosity is helping make a difference in the lives of children and families who rely on the life-saving care provided by St. Jude.”

Donations are still being accepted through the end of April. Individuals or businesses wishing to contribute may do so by leaving a check made out to St. Jude at the NCHS front office between now and April 30.

For those needing documentation for tax purposes, donation forms are available. Checks will be submitted with a donation form, and copies of the completed forms will be mailed to donors as verification that their contribution has been received and sent to St. Jude.

Organizers encourage anyone interested in supporting the cause to get involved and help push the total even higher before the month’s end.
