LSHOF & NWLA History Museum April Lunchtime Lagniappe

Join the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame and Northwest Louisiana History Museum as Owen Stutzman discusses The Ability Experience Journey of Hope at a Lunchtime Lagniappe event on Friday, April 25 from 12:15-12:45 pm.

Each year, approximately 50 men embark on a cross-country trip to test their limits, spread awareness, and celebrate the abilities of all people. Along the way, the team spreads the message of disability awareness through local media and makes stops at partner organizations from the disability community.

Owen Stutzman is an accounting major at Northwestern State University. This summer he is cycling from San Francisco to Washington D.C. for people with disabilities through The Ability Experience.

The Ability Experience is the philanthropic initiative of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. Founded in 1977, they strive to instill a passion for lifelong service in their fraternity members while helping to empower people living with disabilities.

This event is free and open to the public. Visitors are welcome to bring their lunches and eat while they learn. Call (318) 357-2492 for more information
