NCHS (14-16) nearly tied the game 3-3 in the top of the sixth before Sam Houston (26-2) got a three-run home run as the Lady Broncos padded their advantage.

The Lady Chiefs finished with seven hits, two by Maggie Massia. Ehren Guidroz had an RBI double scoring Morgan Robinson for an early 1-0 NCHS lead. Lila Robertson delivered a run-scoring double in the seventh for NCHS.

Sydney Terrell allowed only three earned runs in the circle and struck out four Sam Houston hitters.
