Meet Bruiser, a gentle soul whose life has been filled with both love and heartbreak. His sad eyes have quite a story to tell. From the time he was a puppy, Bruiser spent his life right by his owner’s side, but now finds himself longing for that warmth and connection again after the passing of his beloved owner.
Bruiser’s is a handsome, house-trained, 6 year old lab-mix, whose heart is filled with memories of joyful moments, from fun rides in a pick-up truck, or on a four-wheeler, to cozy afternoon naps on the couch. He walks perfectly on a leash and likes to play with other dogs after a proper introduction.
Some family members tried to bring Bruiser into their lives after he found himself alone, but more than once, he traveled many miles back to the only home had ever known, waiting under the porch for a reunion that will sadly never come.
Sweet Bruiser isn’t asking for much-just a chance to feel loved and safe again. If you’re willing to give him the time he needs to heal, you’ll be rewarded with a loyal and loving companion.
