Kindergarten Graduates Honored at St. Mary’s Catholic School

St. Mary’s Catholic School celebrated a major milestone for its youngest scholars on Friday, May 23rd, as students in Mrs. Nina Thibodaux’s Kindergarten class received their diplomas during a heartfelt graduation ceremony.

Held in the school’s auditorium, the event marked the completion of an important chapter in the lives of the students, who are now ready to begin first grade in the fall. Parents, families, and faculty gathered to cheer on the Class of 2037, who proudly walked across the stage to accept their Kindergarten diplomas.

Chancellor Fr. Irion St. Romain and Principal Stephen Wren presented the diplomas and congratulated each student individually. One highlight of the ceremony was the announcement of each child’s future career aspiration, a touching and often humorous glimpse into the bright dreams of the young graduates. The celebration concluded with the traditional tossing of the caps, a joyful moment met with applause and plenty of smiles.

The Kindergarten Class of 2037 includes: Mary Beth Chasteen, Remi Cook, Charlotte Hanson, Anna Mayeaux, Eva Mayeaux, Cahill Methvin, Barrett Nelson, Aria Poole, Amy Poston, Abigail Walsh, Robbie Williams, Ridge Wilson and Elaina Wood.

St. Mary’s is proud of its newest graduates and wishes them continued success as they enter first grade and beyond.
