FAUNA is very excited about their new PACT program, which stands for “Providing Animal Comfort Therapy.” This initiative was designed to bring joy and companionship to those who need it most. Recently, our wonderful volunteers Kathy Owsley and Carla Salard took furry friends Zara and Missy to local retirement homes, where they spread love and happiness among the residents. The smiles, laughter, and warm interactions shared during these visits truly highlighted the special bond between humans and animals.
Animals have an incredible ability to provide comfort and companionship, and we believe everyone deserves that warmth in their lives. Our PACT program aims to fill that gap by connecting pets with residents who may be longing for a little extra love. We can’t wait to continue these visits and witness the uplifting impact they have on our community.
