Construction is moving full steam ahead on the new Super One Foods store being built adjacent to Hobby Lobby on Keyser Avenue. The project officially broke ground last November, and local residents are now seeing the early stages of what promises to be a major addition to the city’s retail scene.

Located near the busy intersection that includes Hobby Lobby and Whataburger, the new grocery store aims to bring expanded services and options to Natchitoches shoppers. 

City officials and community members have been watching the development closely since the groundbreaking event, where local leaders and project representatives outlined plans for the store’s interior layout, exterior façade, and parking facilities. Construction is anticipated to be finished in summer 2025.

Until then, passersby can expect to see ongoing activity on the site—a visible sign of the grocery store’s return to Natchitoches after years of anticipation.
