Magnolia Spay Neuter Clinic brings vital services to Provencal

The Provencal Community Center was buzzing with activity and purpose as the Magnolia Spay Neuter Clinic rolled into town for a special one-day mobile event. Fauna (Friends All United For Natchitoches Animals) was proud to host this much-needed community service, which brought affordable and compassionate veterinary care directly to local pet owners.

Led by the dedicated Dr. Jessica Carey and her outstanding team, the clinic successfully spayed and neutered more than 40 animals in just one day. Their work not only improves the health and quality of life for pets, but also plays a critical role in addressing the heartbreaking issue of animal overpopulation.

For many communities, affordable spay and neuter services are the only realistic solution to prevent the cycle of unwanted litters, overcrowded shelters, and stray animals. The mobile clinic ensures that these essential services are accessible to all, regardless of income or transportation challenges.

Thank you to Magnolia Spay Neuter Clinic, Dr. Carey, and her team for their tireless work, to FAUNA for their unending commitment to animals in our community, to Provencal Mayor Dan Gongre and City Hall for your support, to Lasyones for providing an amazing lunch, and to the community for showing up and supporting this vital cause.
