Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies and Natchitoches Regional Medical Center EMS responded to a medical emergency on July 20 around 6:54 pm in the 200 block of Riverview Drive, just south of Natchez, according to Sheriff Stuart Wright.

According to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office, a 58-year-old man was airlifted to a regional trauma center after reportedly falling from a ladder. A Lifeteam Air EVAC helicopter was dispatched to the scene for transport.

Deputies Lt. B. Smith, Deputy J. Owusu-Duku, and Deputy Cpl. J. Edwards assisted EMS and established a landing zone for the helicopter.
