The Natchitoches Parish School Board (NPSB) will conduct placement testing next week for students entering or re-entering grades 1–9 from private school, homeschool, or other non-public educational settings. Testing will be held Monday, July 28 through Thursday, July 31, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. each day.

Students entering grades 5 and 9 will take their placement tests online, while students in all other eligible grades will complete paper-and-pencil tests.

Students entering kindergarten or grades 10–12 do not need to test. However, those entering grades 10–12 must contact their high school directly and provide up-to-date transcripts from their previous school.
