The survey was conducted from August 12, 2025 to August 15, 2025 at 7 p.m. Friday.
The survey aimed to gather feedback from readers about their views on the future Sheriff of Natchitoches Parish. The Office of the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff is considered the highest in the Parish and holds significance for local citizens, as shown by the total number of times the survey was read – 9,665. A total of 3,091 survey entries were collected; 2,443 were analyzed and 648 excluded for irregularities (see below).

Irregularities
Outside the Parish – Entries outside the Parish boundary were excluded from the survey based on IP addresses.
Duplicate entries – Entries with the same IP address and MAC address were removed.
Masked/Hidden entries – Masked or hidden IP address entries were deleted.
