Natchitoches Boys & Girls Clubs is now offering afterschool programming for youth in Natchitoches, providing a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for youth and teens after the school day ends.
After School Programming is held at the Ben Johnson Auditorium (400 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive), offering homework help, academic enrichment, leadership opportunities, character development, sports, recreation, and exposure to the arts. Each program is designed to give members the tools they need to succeed in school, build healthy habits, and grow into future leaders.
“Afterschool is a critical time for youth development,” states Rhyan Wheeler, President & CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Acadiana. “We are proud to provide a safe place where children can learn, grow, and have fun while building relationships that will last a lifetime. At the Boys & Girls Club, we are committed to helping kids reach their full potential while giving parents peace of mind knowing their children are in a safe and positive space.”
The afterschool program is open to students ages 6–18. Space is limited, and parents are encouraged to register early to secure a spot for their child.
